Lenya Heitzig
Lenya Heitzig is an award winning author and sought after speaker at conferences and retreats worldwide. She is the coauthor of the Fresh Life Series which includes: Live Intimately: Lessons from the Upper Room, Live Fearlessly: A Study in the Book of Joshua, Live Deeply: A Study in the Parables of Jesus, and Live Relationally: Lessons from the Women of Genesis. Serving as the Executive Director of Women at Calvary, one of the core ministries at Calvary Albuquerque, she delights in seeing God’s Word do His work in the lives of women. Her husband, Skip Heitzig, is the Senior Pastor of the 12,000-member congregation that has been ranked one of the fastest growing churches in America. She received the Gold Medallion Award for co-authoring Pathway to God’s Treasure: Ephesians, which also includes Pathway to God’s Plan: Esther and Pathway to Living Faith: James in the series. She also contributed a number of devotionals to The New Women’s Devotional Bible, which was a finalist in the 2007 Christian Book Awards. Her most recent book, Holy Moments, published by Regal enlightens readers to see God’s hand of providence move miraculously in daily life. Lenya loves jogging with her dog Winston as well as sampling pastries wherever she goes, fulfilling her motto, “Run so you can eat!” She lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico with her husband Skip and their son, Nathan and his wife Janae’ who serve in the high school and college ministries.

Carmen Camino
Carmen Camino is originally from Lima, Peru, and has lived in the United States for 35 years. She is a graduate of Nova University where she received her BA and MBA degrees in Business Administration and International Business respectively. She is also an alumnus of Calvary’s School of Ministry.
Carmen divides her time between teaching the Bible for the Women at Calvary, overseeing the PM Women’s Bible Study, serving on the Women’s Ministry’s Steering Committee, and taking care of her home. She even finds time to assist her husband with some of their drugstore’s administrative work.
As a bilingual teacher, she also travels to Mexico and Peru teaching the Bible at women’s conferences. She is not only committed to Jesus and to serving His women, but she is especially committed to the Word of God. She is passionate about helping women encounter God in a whole new way through His Word. Her desire is that women would embrace a biblical way of thinking and living and that they would be transformed into the image of Christ.
She and her husband, Wilfred, have been married seventeen years, and together have five children and eight grandchildren. She really enjoys hosting tea parties and traveling to Colorado to visit her grand kids.

Penny Pierce Rose
Penny Rose is the Gold Medallion Award winning coauthor of Pathway to God’s Treasure: Ephesians, as well as Pathway to God’s Plan: Esther, and Pathway to Living Faith: James published by Tyndale House. She also coauthored the Fresh Life series which includes: Live Intimately: Lessons from the Upper Room, Live Fearlessly: A Study in the Book of Joshua, Live Deeply: A Study in the Parables of Jesus, and Live Relationally: Lessons from the Women of Genesis. She was the General Editor and a devotional writer for Zondervan’s New Women’s Devotional Bible, a finalist for the Christian Book Award and contributed to Zondervan’s True Identity: The Bible for Women. She wrote A Garden of Friends published by Regal as an ode to biblical friendship. A longtime member of the Women at Calvary Steering Committee, Penny thrives on teaching at conferences and retreats nationwide. Penny lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico with her husband Kerry, a pastor at Calvary Albuquerque. They have two daughters: Erin and Ryan and one son: Kristian. She loves to spend time with family and friends, read, and travel.

Larissa Lusko
Larissa came to know Christ as her personal Lord and Savior over 30 years ago. With a passion for the Word of God, her desire is to teach women how to find His treasures in scripture. Larissa has taught at women’s prisons, retreats, home Bible studies, School of Ministry small groups, and the Women at Calvary. She has been involved with the Women at Calvary for many years and serves on the Steering Committee.
Larissa has walked the path of single parenthood, widowhood, and step-parenthood. Larissa enjoys travel, scuba diving, cycling, and reading. Married to Pastor Chip Lusko, Larissa has one son, is the stepmother of five, and has three grandchildren.

Shaena Crespo
Shaena has been a faithful servant of the Women’s Ministry for several years. Along with various areas of involvement in the Bible study, she has been Master of Ceremonies at the annual Women at Calvary Retreat and special guest speaker at the Christmas event, Celebration of Light.
Shaena and husband Nick Crespo have been married for five years and are enjoying the challenges of first-time parenthood as they grow and learn with two-year old Nicholas.
With a love and passion for the Bible, Shaena’s sincere hope is to see women discover a deeper relationship with God and allow His Word to transform their lives.

Christy Willis
Christy has been an active member of the Women at Calvary for many years. She has helped with Retreat, Bible Study, Celebration of Light and other Special Events. Her energies are currently being funneled toward learning to teach, mastering the HUB sound board, and sitting on the Steering Committee.
Participating and serving with the Women at Calvary has held an important place in Christy’s life. Through it she has developed strong and lasting relationships, experienced the infinite power of prayer, and has watched the Lord work in amazing ways.
Christy also feels blessed, beyond measure, in her personal life. She and her husband Tom have been married for 28 years, and have always been self-employed. They have grown together through reliance on God’s provision during the unpredictable times in small business ownership. Christy admires and respects her hard-working husband and is appreciative for the example of unconditional love that he is in her life.
Christy is the mother of two wonderful, college age girls, Summer and Shawna. They are the joy of her heart and she in constantly blessed through their generous spirit and their love for the Lord. Christy is also stepmother to Erik, and grandmother to five year old Parker.
Christy’s heart is to encourage women of all ages to recognize and accept God’s love, grace, and hope in their lives. She is extremely grateful for the opportunities that the Lord has offered her through this women’s ministry. Her prayer is that she will be humble before the Lord and always available to love and serve the women that He brings into her life.
